Dear all, I am currently looking for software capable of assessing radiation dose in CT imaging and visualizing the spatial distribution of the dose within the scan. The software should be able, from the reconstructed images and scan parameters, to calculate the dose distribution over the images themselves (visually similar to what is done by radiotherapy tps).
Of course, I am fully aware of the limitations that such an approach would inherently have (differences between reconstructed and irradiated region, dose outside the irradiated region, etc).
Has anyone worked with or can recommend software that offers these capabilities? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kind reply. I realize my question may have been unclear — I was not referring to dose calculation in radiotherapy based on CT images, but rather to the estimation of the radiation dose delivered by the CT scan itself (i.e., CT dose distribution).
I believe those platforms can also calculate the CT diagnostic CT images dose, please contact their staff and find out, to start from there. They may recommend something else more appropriate. Go to their website and find out. In radiation treatment planning, simulation CT is diagnostic quality. So is the CT on the radiotherapy treatment couch, these platforms can estimate those radiation dose.
There are old programs like IMPACT and probably more modern ones. However they one provide estimates of effective dose and, at best, dose to some organs. I know of no program that provides calcuations of dose distributions and isodose representation like we are used to in radiation therapy.

Thank you very much for your response. We are currently using both IMPACT and Virtual Phantom, but as you mentioned, they only provide organ dose estimates and not full dose distributions with isodose representation. That’s why I was looking for alternative solutions. I really appreciate your input.
