Please have a look at the recent conference paper linked below, where we show a few different designs for custom reedbeds and soakaways we used for effluent, greywater, and digestate disposal at a number of decentralised biogas sites at rural South African creches. The systems were also designed to serve a dual irrigation role, and incorporate food gardens, etc. I hope it is helpful.
