I want to study the anti-inflammatory activity of Cassia plant in vitro. I have come across 2 methods to perform "inhibition of albumin denaturation assay"
One method uses albumin dissolved in phosphate buffer saline (pH 6.4) (1)
The other method uses aqueous solution of albumin with 1N HCl for pH adjustment (2)
A: Which one of these option is better?
B: If my extracts are prepared in methanol, which solutions should I use as blank?
