The B27 is a 50X liquid. If making 100ml medium, 2ml of B27 (50X) is needed. B27 needs to be stored at -20 C and the B27 (1X) in the medium will only last for two weeks at 4C.

It is confusing but they are both the same. Consider that the 50X is also referred to as 100%.

10ml of 50x in 500 ml =1x and 10ml of 100% in 500ml = 2%.
