We have synthesized ZnSSe and CFTS thin film based PEC cells.

First, you may try with 1 M Na2SO4. The metal chalcogenides are not stable under PEC aqueous bath. Therefore, a protective coating will be required.

An alternative way would be the use of a redox couple.
