Like we can get color information, estimate sizes, corners, edges, shape etc. Which other parameters can we directly compute from a single image?

You can do all image processing operations which are available for digital images. Pre-processing, image enhancement, feature extraction, segmentation, classification and object recognition.
low-level features : color, intensity, edges, corners, texture, shape, area, perimeter, eccentricity, major axis, minor axis, centroid etc.
high-level features : semantic entities like sky, grass, water, buildings, people, car, roads etc.
Apart from processing the image and inferring information from the pixels themselves, you might also be able to look at the EXIF data (as used by papers like https://arxiv.org/pdf/1805.04096.pdf ).
