This dye solution will not be able to come out of the nanoparticle normally, but when the cholesterol in the nanoparticle breaks down, it will come out and paint the environment. What would be the most suitable chemical dye that I can use for this job?

You can put any dye into the liposome. After the destruction of the liposome, it will go out into the environment. You need to think about the interaction between the medium and the dye. The color of the dye depends on pH, concentration of inorganic salt, interaction with other molecules.
My aim is to enzymatically break down the cholesterol in the liposome and observe the dye coming out.İn this case, wouldn't dyes that are very small, come out of the liposome from phospholipids or cholesterol cause a problem? You want a good answer, but don't give details. What phospholipids, what enzyme. Enzymes break a certain bond and therefore you can predict the reaction products. From phospholipids and cholesterol, you will not get chromophores, which are responsible for absorption in the visible region.

We used trypan blue in a liposome composed of soy lecithin and cholesterol. We can determine that the dye is released (by the toxin effect (hemolysin) breaking down the liposome) by measuring the color intensity spectrophotometrically, but because the dye is very dark, the amount of dye before and after the experiment cannot be determined visually. Therefore, we need a colorless or very light dye with the same properties and an indicator that reacts with it to give a darker color. Do you have any suggestions?
