Hi Teresita, 0.5mg/ml sound expensive for me given the amount of samples that I am planning to process. Have you ever tried something less and it didn't work? I will receive my lysostaphin next week and at least I have an idea of where to start and maybe try much lower conc and see.

we use 1 mg/ml stock solution of lysostaphin dissolved in sterile deionized water. 15 ul of 0.1 mg/ml was added o/n grown staphylococci and incubated 1 h at 37C for degradation of cells by lysostaphin.
