Dear colleagues,

I am working on a project in which I want to deliver oligonucleotides (specifically, molecular beacons (MBs)) inside different protist species. To do so, I am going to use cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs).

Some of the organisms I am working with have a chitinous cell wall -which may be a limitation for the correct delivery of the MBs. For this reason, I wanted to ask you whether there is any CPP you would recommend for using it in cells with such characteristics. Moreover, I would like to know whether there is any CPP that can be useful both for cells with chitinous cell wall and without it -as well as for cell walls constituted by other polysaccharides.

Thank you very much!
