Hi,

In our lab, we are currently trying to express GCaMP (green fluorescent protein (GFP), calmodulin) in Lung Epithelial Cells.

We plan to use either AAv or lentivector to do the expression. If we plan to use the aav vector, we will do the clone a promoter FOXI1 into the vector ensure the expression level.

However, if we use lentivector, we are not sure whether it is appropriate to lentivirus to express the calcium and other sensors in a cell.

For example, does lentivector infection cause variation in Calcium signaling and the cyclic amp pathway?

I would be appreciative if anyone could help.
