I am trying to measure the kinetic of an antibacterial agent on E.coli, my bacterial agent interfers with the optical density of bacteria and it precipitates, so I can't measure DO before and after in order to relatively quantify the bacterial growth nor can I follow the kinetic of the inhibition.
Bioluminescent bacteria are a solution as I can measure the kinetic using multiskan without worrying about my bacterial agent interfering with the bioluminescence.
