I would like to get information about to carry out the acidification of my sample (whole blood and plasma): the requerided volume to stabilize my sample without modify the matrix, which should be the most suitable acid, etc. Also I would like to know if you would need to validate it in my method and how I should do do this.
Regarding the addition of stabilizers (enzyme inhibitor) I would like to know if there are studies on the impact that the presence of different organic solvents can have on the WB or plasma. How I should prepare the stabilizer solution?
I have done a search, but I have not found any literature review about this.
