I'm looking for the least expensive picosecond laser with the following minimum specifications. Ideally, my upper end in cost would be ~$10,000 so anything around that or less would be nice.
You can easily fabricate by yourself based on nonlinear polarization rotation technique in fiber laser. As i have done before, the price is around $3k (maybe cheaper) the performance is around repetition rate of 17 MHz and pulse width of 0.8 ps (depend on your cavity length). Then, what you need is an amplifier to boost up the energy.
