I am a Placemaking fanatic and I am desperately searching for a master or short study in Placemaking. It is difficult to find one in the Netherlands and the ones that are in the Netherlands are mostly mixed with other topics like urban planning, for example. I am specifically looking for one that does only the raw Placemaking
Ummm ... what is 'raw' Placemaking? :-) It seams ( like 'Geography' ) to be inherently interdisciplinary, and looking at the commonly ascribed components, the equivalents can be found in many academic domains, just with a different label attached. Although the Urban Studies, Architecture, Planning, etc. seem to have dominated the ownership of the term.

So is it the 'name' or the skills? Most universities, at the graduate level offer some sort of design your own program, and attach an advisor so as to meet their requirements, so that might be a possibility. i.e. "Individualized Studies is an interdisciplinary major option for students who wish to create a program of study by combining selected courses from two or more departments. Students are required to identify a central organizing theme for their major and design it under the guidance and supervision of a faculty member and an Individualized Studies adviser."

I am not familiar with what is available in the Netherlands, so you may have to look further afield in Australia and in the USA where some of the Placemaking course appears to be available for online learning or even for free or low cost over the MOOC platforms.
Until about 2010 within the UK there was the Government's Homes and Communities Agency that run their own brief online course in Placemaking that could be extended through an external partner organisation to an Award, Certificate or Diploma Course at Level 5 Accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and delivered, if I recall correctly by the Academy of Leadership and Management in Scotland. I believe that the courses are no longer offered, but it may be still possible to obtain the course related information if you contact the accrediting body or the external partner organisation, if of interest and relevance.
