Where can I compare gene expression levels for cancerous tissues vs. normal tissues?

ICGC/TCGA takes a sample of the cancerous tissue and a sample of the normal tissue for each patient.

I would like to gather the Renal cancer patients of ICGC for example, and get the mean expression of TP53 in the cancerous tissue and the mean expression of TP53 in the normal tissue across all patients.

Is there anyway to do it online? didn't find how to do it in the ICGC/TCGA portals...

If not, what data do I need to download?

expression data from ICGC seemed to have data of the cancerous tissue only.

You can use http://ualcan.path.uab.edu/ to gather your interest mRNA expression.

Another site is https://www.oncomine.org/ (you need to register to use it). It has a lot of databases from many sources.
