How do a drug inhibit a metabolising enzyme? Is it due to decreased expression of gene producing enzyme?
It depends on drug. There are several mechanisms which might be possible in the inhibition cascade depending on the type of inhibitor molecule. In your case, defining type of inhibition would be a pre-requisite.
Can you tell me some of the mechanism of inhibition?
