Hello Gali,

PMS-NBT-NADH system will produce superoxide radicals, but colorless. In presence of light source it giving ash blue color intensity and In presence of antioxidant with PMS-NBT-NADH + light , the color intensity will reduce.

thank you Revathi but I don't know what kind of light lamp we should to se to indce the réaction and we will use it before or after adding the samples (extracts or standard).

In India we are using bright sunlight is efficient for this assay. After adding the samples in subsequent test tubes, those were exposed to sun light for 90 sec. According to the activity of the sample the color intensity will minimum when compared to control.
