During my trial for lubricant oil re-refinery process, I use NaOH as coagulant agent.
After overnight of gravity settling, a solid layer in the surface was form.
what product is that? since the waste lubricant will not form those product if exposed to the air, I believe that was the affect after the addition of NaOH.

There was probably a basic hydrolysis of some esters with soda and the formation of soap.
Thanks Danung Nur Adli and Pero Dugić , Can I say that the base oil of the waste lubricant contain vegetable oil?
its may true because after I tried to wash the treated oil with hot water twice and keep it overnight, I didn't see any solid product on the surface.
