In your opinion laryngeal lesions caused by hpv should be removed only when present clinical symptoms or they should be removed whenever diagnostic taking into account that the virus is considered an independent risk factor for carcinoma.
In clinical practice what I see is that all lesions caused by HPV are usually surgically removed because those lesion can cause obstrutions in air ways, and even after removed can come back again. Many children perform surgery to tracheostomy in order to breath easily. And still follow with otolaryngologist
