In the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells to hepatocyte-like cells, some protocols include hydrocortisone as a reagent, but some others use hydrocortisone 21-hemisuccinate sodium salt. It seems that they both inhibit the immune response, but are there some difference between these two molecules in differentiation and maintenance of hepatocytes?
