I am trying to use deoxyadenosine as nucleoside standard and I realized that only 2′-Deoxyadenosine monohydrate is on sale in Sigma and other companies, but not the standalone compound like 2′-Deoxycytidine, so I wonder whether the compound I mentioned in my question is suitable to be used as a standard for deoxyadenosine?

If you dissolve your compound, the monohydrate contributes to the concentration of the solvent, that means, you have to take into account the additional weight of the water molecule per deoxyadenosine molecule (H2O = 18g/Mol) when you weigh in the powder.

In other words, make the solution using the molecular weight given of the monohydrate, but in solution it exists simply as 2'deoxyadenosine.
