What's the effect of oxidative stress on the expression of Nrf2 & AKt proteins ?

I'll be inducing a diabetes related endothelial dysfunction in HUVEC cells. In order to confirm the endothelial dysfunction, Im intending to measure the apoptotic and oxidative stress markers. Are Akt & Nrf2 proteins considered as good markers for oxidative stress and what's the expected change in their expression following oxidative stress?
