Hi. You can try solvent based extraction. Concentrate the solvent extract followed by its column chromatography. then perform antimicrobial test of the different fraction.
Start with an extractive screening at three different pH with ethyl acetate, in order to guess polarity and acidic or basic nature of your molecule. test also stability al 80°C at three pH.
Test the amount present in mycelia and/or supernatant.
at this point you will have an idea of ph conditions to be avoided, and know if you can extract, or attach to ionic exchangers or solica or reverse phases columns your activity.
