Today, microscopic systems like SEM,TEM and AFM are available at scientific institutions and research centers. Above techniques are involved in thousands of published articles to imaging of materials in nanoscale size. What about sizes below 1 nanometer?
That's depends on what you want to investigate. Modern (S)TEM have point resolutions well below 1 nm.

They have resolution of 50 pm.
TEM already almost reached "visualization" limit. It can work at atomic resolution level. Of course we can expect further improvements, but we should not expect to see what is inside an atom. It is a completely different story, for other methods, not for simple visualization. For those (most of us), who do not need to see atoms, TEM already reached it's limit.
