When a patient experiences complications due to an anti-psychotic drug that affects the heart rhythm, how do you deal with the patient in this case? Will you stop the anti-psychotic drug, which may lead to a deterioration in the patient's psychological condition? Or will you let the patient continue on the anti-psychotic drug, and in this case, what do you recommend? And why?
Anti-psychotic drugs have different effects, one of the ways would be to review the side effect profile of other agents with the view of switching to the agent with less/or no effects on the heart

I recommend making a decision collaboratively with the patient.
The patient should be switched from classical or old generation antipsychotics like thioridazine that cause many side effects including arrhythmia to modern generation antipsychotics like olanzapine.
