What would be a good standard to measure detector delay time for LC/MS?

What would be a good standard to measure detector delay time from UV to MS for LC/MS in the positive ion mode? I'm looking for something I could make from common chemicals in a chemistry lab that would that ionize in positive ion mode and also give UV.
