Currently, I have made a good dry mix formula for Geopolymer from Fly ash and slag. We are ready for scaling up the production to help to solve the problem of fly ash in our country. What I have to do if I want to obtain the IP from the Patent office in my country ( Vietnam) and in US?
You need to file a patent application and have it searched by a patent office. There are different patent strategies; for example, you may start with an application in Vietnam and then use it as priority application for a PCT or a US application. I am not sure why you want to protect your invention in the US, perhaps it would be a good idea to protect it also in other countries close to Vietnam, which might be the markets to export your products or in any case to expand to.
Before filing an actual patent application, you should formulate the claims and do a prior art search to see whether it is really new and inventive. A patent attorney will help you formulating the claims and may also be able to help with a prior art search. A prior art search can also be made (at least in some countries) with help of the patent office of the country in which you intend to file (the Swiss Patent Office offers this service).

Before filing the patent, carry our grey area analysis of IP. A lot of patent has been filed on fly ash and slag based geopolymer, and almost all range has been covered. So grey area analysis will tell you, whether the formulation are patentable or already some body patented it.
