As the question states, I am trying to perform CV analysis of a very traditional lithium metal battery cell, with the copper substrate as the WE and lithium metal as RE and CE.
However, I do see that everytime I scan the voltage from somewhere above or below the open circuit potential (3.3V theoretically), I found my signal always show some sudden jump or bump, but sometimes I don't have this phenomenoun.
Does it mean that I induced an additional oxidation or reduction reaction drive to the cell the very first second I applied the potential?
If every time I scan from the OCP, I should not have those side reactions, right?
