In your question I see two different components: 1) effects of radiation on carcinogenesis and 2) effects of the stress on this process.
It is true that you selected laboratory mouse. But now there are more than 400 inbred lines and more than 1000 mutant stocks. It is therefore very important to choose appropriate task model. But be carefull: for example, mouse lines C58, С3Н and CBA are extremely sensitive to hepatocarcino-genesis and the lines С57BL/6 and С57BL/10 - insensitive. Similarly, different mouse lines differ in sensitivity to stress. So you must first determine the target organ. In general, I can agree with Ali Salavati about BALB/c.
