My protein hv only one cysteine.i am using 0.7-1 mg/ml protein concentration, what should be the dye concentration for efficient labelling?please suggest me.i am using 100uM TCEP for reducing the cysteine residue.
Procedural information for protein labeling can be found in the attached document. It recommends 10-20 moles of labeling reagent per mole of protein.
Hi Shoyab, to increase sensitivity, you could try labeling the protein with streptavidin maleimide and then add biotinylated fluorophores.
I am doing SDM by stratagene kit. After PCR amplify product was observed on agarose gel.Beside that i run my original plasmid on gel too.Unfortunately after PCR i was not getting correct amplify...

When you use RIA, with a control the unknown sample with antibodies, you bare in mind the binding sites of the antibodies. However you still need to measure labelled antigen (radioactive) and not...
