What process is best for the separation of oxalic acid from a lignocellulosic biomass?

Lignin was fractionated and bio-oil pyrolysed from the same lignocellulosic biomass, both were subjected to GC-MS and Oxalic acid was detected. How can the oxalic acid be isolated/recovered with high purity?

Hi Gloria,

Part of the technique you used is precisely the answer.

Separation should happen before introducing and breaking molecules apart inside the MS.
