We are writing a review on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) analyses of highly polymorphic multigene families. The main focus is on the Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC), but I would like to add a list of other highly polymorphic genes in multigene and supergene families. I am particularly interested in those that have been analysed (successfully or not) using NGS techniques (ideally with a reference).

Well, one of the most complex genes are the RHD and RHCE of the blood group system. The homology between those two genes is about 96%. MNS Blood group system has three homologous genes GYPA, GYPB and GYPE.
ABO gene is highly polymorphic as well.
