Is there any reason for this question ? Because it is well known that Concrete can be reinforced by discreet placement of steel. For more dispersed form fibres can be place in concrete to reinforce it.

Any material provide efficient tensile strength, safety and economy(steel, FRP composites,etc.
Usually galvanized steel of textures, shapes, and sizes are used in concrete.
any material possessing large tensile strength and having coefficient of thermal expansion same as that of concrete
Any material which provides the required tensile strength is suitable including reinforcing steel, carbon fibers etc.
High Yield Strength Deformed steel bars are mostly used to reinforce the concrete. Even bamboos are also used to reinforce the concrete but those structures are meant to last only few years,as it decomposes quickly. Now a days, carbon fibres are used in some research parts.
There are many materials we use to reinforce concrete. Nowdays, we experiment with ecological materials such as Borassus aethiopum, bamboo, and rattan. Currently, those materials are often used for lightweight constructions. Non-ecological materials such as steel and carbon fibres are usually used.
