Hi folks - I am buying a nanodrop (or equivalent) for our lab, and Polygen has a version which is less than half price than other instruments on the market. It is the EzDrop 1000. Do any of you have experience with it? Is it OK or not worth saving the money?
If you want to use it for the quantification of stuff for sequencing, I would recommend to consider fluorescence based instruments (ex. qubit).

I had an experience with Polygon. It is very efficient at the lab level. can be used to measure DNA, RNA, and Proteins. However, As Abhijeet Singh said, if you are considering sequencing, the qubit is highly recommended. For the EzDrop 1000, It seems its only measures the DNA.
