Since I write a lot on RG , my score is indicative of that !!!! My Research interest is a score for papers and its citations (I guess) . Again my score goes up only when I write technical stuff else it will increase marginally (0,1) range ...

In my experience both, but papers indexed in RG are more important.

I believe RG is the way mark for individual knowledge & members certain part & take the knowledge of others by remaining in their performance. With this some times the knowledge & RG some time offers us the knowledge of our experience or helps us to process under our project for this sometime back I have expressed my views in the similar line which I submit herewith for your perusal

It is of course an individual member of a researcher to follow & joint in the suggestive measure for collaboration as been observed that quite good project which has been presented as part of researcher program if any member can tune with the same he may certainly suggest for his well experience ,knowledge also for suggestive measure for collaboration .

Segun Michael Abegunde it is not normal. By the way, why has RG failed to disclose their rating/scoring indices or pattern, also, there are a number of journals that have high IF even with citation reports, yet RG does not recognize them. It would interest you to know that RG scores for their indexed journals are inconsistent with those of reputable databases, though it is stated that they base their own on RG cited papers.... In summary, RG cannot stand reputably relative to known established databases which give timely updates on their citation reports. Most RG journals are less rated comparably and this is a factorial index militating against some scores.
