I am looking for a full time job. I have found many headhunters online and applied, but most of the replies are "Undeliverable" or "Message Delivery Failure". etc.
Some firms even want you to pay them to find a job, even though they will get a fee for finding employees.
Are there any good headhunter firms out there?

All trials have been negative along my career. If there are real head hunters please tell how to find them. Not for me as I am now a bit "old"
I have only very limeted experiences with headhunters.
When I was the winner in some initial stages of a business plan competition (about 15 years ago in Munich), I was also looking for investors; I remember some invited workshop weekends at Castle Elmau and the different aspects of headhunting, i.e. finding the right people in an initial phase for a potential startup company. Some of the real founders of startup companies then really used headhunters and appeared to be happy with them, although they cost a lot of money...
Many years later, I surprisingly was contacted by a young headhunter who asked if I could imagine working for a Munich based big company - I told him very clear, that I do not see why that company would hire me for the specific job - which was a little out of my interests, but he insisted that it would be his time and he only would make money if he would get me into that challenging job. At the end the company hired for that job someone from inside the company... but that was OK with me, I never expected to be the best person for that job out of my experience.
Another time I was contacted by another headhunter, she even arranged an interview and the Professor and his assistant would have been very honored if I would start there - and promised to support me as much as possible, I would be the best ever. But when the official administration sent the contract, it differed way too much from what was promised, so the headhunter had done a very bad job, wasting all the peoples time.
I think the real headhunters have a difficult job, since it is hard to find the best person for a challenging job - and then to get them out of a functional job environment into something potential risky. One can often replace most of the people in a job, but for some scientific questions, one may really need the best one to succeed.
Thanks for the answers, but what is surprising to me is that how few recruitment specialists (aka headhunters) are on RG.
This site has a vast smorgasbord of very talented and very dedicated scientists in different fields.
Yet RG is mostly ignored by recruiters. Why is that?
If I were a recruiter, I would see RG as an orchard of many low hanging fruits.
