Wild apple seeds of Malus orientalis some times have a problem of seed germination. Therefore, please try to harvest the matured fruits (avoid immature fruit), the seed coat of the mature seeds is always dark brown in color. Amber or light colour indicate the immaturity. Therefore, after harvesting, these seeds can be stratified under low temperature (4 degree centigrade) under moist sand during winter season season (December to February) in perfectly well drained container. This way you can germinate the seeds easily.

tاank you so much . more articles I read about this issue suggested using GA for several hours and then cold stratification for 60 days. 

Kew records suggest:  90 % germination; pre-sowing treatments = imbibed on 1% agar for 8 weeks at 0°C, then seed scarified (testa removed); germination medium = 1% agar; germination conditions = 10°C, 8/16; (RBG Kew, Wakehurst Place.)

Researchers have shown that, as a rule, apple seed treated with GA3 200-500 ppm for 24-40 hours or several weeks treatment at low temperatures (0–4°C) gave best response regarding seed germination, better growth of seedlings and survival of saplings.
