What is the volume of PBS per plant tissue's weight in the ZymoBIOMICS DNA MiniPrep kit for plant tissue metagenomic DNA extraction?

Hello, in the ZymoBIOMICS DNA MiniPrep kit's pdf, more especifically in the apendix B 'Application Notes', the Plant tissue-centrifugation of cells part they mention : 'Suspend plant tissue in isotonic solution (e.g. PBS) and gently sonicate or vortex briefly'. Would anyone know how much buffer per plant tissue weight is best? Thanks in advance
