If there is a chromophore group containing terpene in natural extract, for the seperation in HPLC with UV detector, What are the wavelength I can set..?
220 nm for terpenoids is reported. Please see attached file for details of the method.

@ Byju Ponnana: You can use 235 nm if your solvent doesn't absorb at that wavelength. I assume you are using normal phase solvents and most of them absorb in this wavelength range. You may be able to use acetone for the "Strong" solvent as described in this application note:
Briefly, this works because acetone has a "hole" in its absorbance spectrum. If you are using reverse phase solvents (water/acetonitrile, methanol, ethanol), pretty much any wavelength will work.
