I am looking for information about the typical error obtained when you count corneal endothelial cells using specular microscopy (in number of cells/mm²). Can you help me ? I found around 5% of error, do you validate this result ?

The specular microscopy acquire a sample of the endothelium mosaic. The erros is a funciton of number of the counted cells, the morphology of the endotelial cells and the age or population of these cells. Please read my articles:
