i need to know the terminal group of PLGA 20k and 30k which are used for preparing sustained release microspheres.
acid termination to contribute towards stabilization and useful for functionalization
Dear Jebun Nessa Diana ,
The terminal group of PLGA is COOH (Carboxylic group) irrespective of the number of repeating units. 20K or 30K both denote the number of repeating units and it has no impact on the nature of the terminal groups.
