The optimal temperature and time range for extracting total phenolic content from gymnosperms using ultrasound-assisted extraction is 60-80°C for 80-120 minutes. At the lower end of the temperature range (60°C), a longer extraction time of 120 minutes is required to achieve the highest yields, while at the higher end (80°C), a shorter extraction time of 80 minutes can also produce good results. This temperature and time range allows for efficient extraction of phenolic compounds without significant degradation due to excessive heat.
