Leading researchers are still saying that it can be another 14-18 months before the world gets to access a vaccine. The same is the case with Indian vaccine, as experts say that it is still in the nascent stage and it will take a while before we see conclusive development.
Vaccines require a lot of crucial studies, phases of trials to test out potential side-effects to test its safety, feasibility and cost. Can anyone tell us the current status of all the vaccines which are the leading front runners right now ?

A mRNA vaccine (developed by company Moderna and NIAID) has, in a phase I study, caused neutralizing antibodies in the 8 (=100%) of individuals involved in the trial.
Junaid, a vaccine is yet to be found despite the numerous efforts that scientists have undertaken including so many test of other hopeful cures. Although some are projecting that it might take up to two years to develop one, it still remains uncertain when this will be the case. Until such time, some forms of social distance, lockdown and increased observance and hygiene measures might be the new order.
