Data collected by a survey that included 7likert scale (from strongly disagree to strongly agree) statements for both the proposed critical success factors and the success criteria. What is the statistical analysis to use for confirming these factors and success criteria?
We are not testing relationships but rather confirming these factors and criteria.
You can perform a factorial analysis, I believe that first by validating a measurement model of such factors would be of an exploratory type to determine how it fits, and then of a confirmatory type (SEM).
It sounds like you need to use Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Even if you do want to test relationships among the underlying concepts, I would recommend running a single analysis with correlated factors.
