Hi every body,

I measured serum level of resolvin D1 (RvD1) by an ELISA kit from EASTBIOPHARM company, which its sensitivity and assay range was ng/ml. On the other hand, ample studies and papers measured RvD1 in serum and plasma by ELISA kits, which their sensitivity and assay range was pg/ml. What is the reason of this difference?

I know that sensitivity of ELISA kits relevant to various companies is different, but I am curious to know the reason of this difference?

I think that measurement of RvD1 in serum according to pg/ml is more suitable than ng/ml. what is your opinion?

Please guide me.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Ramin
