Hello Paul I cant understand what you meant. Sorry for that. Do you want me to taste these isolates with insects or you want to know source of isolating material? I have gotten this from soil sample not from insects body.
The presence of the microconidia in the chain can be a characteristic of Fusarium Liseola section previously known as Fusarium moniliforme. This type of fungus is associated with insects and insect damage.
The other fungus with bottle shaped phialides could be related Paeciliomyces somewhat brush like as Penicillium and could be similar to some Metarrhizium.
If you are interested in entomopathogenic fungi you may want to isolate from pupae and test the isolates against larvae.
For looking for entopathogens from soil or insects you might want to isolate them on chitin rich media and the chitinolytic isolates will be visualized as clear zones in the media. Chitin is a structural defensive compound in insects as well as fungi and the expression of enzymatic capacity might be associated with isolates with potential to attack the defenses and have biological control potential.
