You can use glass filtering funnel instead of filler paper. It is available with different pore sizes. I used to use it for separating my crystal from mother solvents....🙂

Well, I know there are different methods you mention well-known tools but recently, many researchers used a magnetic field to separate adsorbent after coating with Fe2O3.
