What is the optimum amount of plant tissue to get 1 µg of mitochondrial DNA?

I want to know what should be the starting amount of tissue to get at least 1 µg of pure mitochondrial DNA from plant seedlings?

I know mito DNA is ~5% of total DNA but what yield is expected from 1 g of tissue.

I am using sucrose gradient to isolate mitochondria and further processing using CTAB method to isolate DNA.

I have DNeasy kit for total genomic dna isolation however for my sequencing applications i need to minimize the reads generated from genomic DNA. To do that i need maximum percentage of mitochondrial dna in my library. That is why i am more foccused on yield. So far I have i have treid from around 5 gm of green tissue but not able to get sufficient amount of pure mitochondrial dna.

thats my problem.
