We are trying to optimize the culture condition for human cardiomyocytes. We just want to know if there is an established optiminization strategy for tuning the parameters, such as growth factor, medium ... etc.

There are many different culture systems for human cardiomyocytes and these seem to work well. Best to optimise your own system impirically. Identify a medium that is approriate for your experiments. I had great success with M199. Avoiding cell injury during the isolation procedure is critical and this affects the yeild of viable cells. Substrate cell attachment is important In static systems. I found laminin good for initial attachment.
