Suppose that three crude oil products transmission elector-pumps are installed in series mood in a pump station.

The pump station operator want to operate the elector-pumps. He/She can start up pump 1, after that pump 2, and finally pump 3. As well as, they can also be start up in another way. For example, pump 2 may be started first, and after that pump 1 be started and so on.

Is there any standards recommendation related to the sequence the of starting up of series pumps?

Is there any optimum solution?
